About the Role
Join the Interior Sensing Systems team to help lead the development of next-gen fusion Interior Sensing Features from Occupant Monitoring to Child Detection and beyond. Looking for technically minded, self-starters who thrive in dynamic work environments and enjoy the challenge of thinking outside the box to develop new and innovative solutions and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. The Product Engineering and System Test Manager will primarily be responsible for leading Product Engineers and System Test Engineers. On the product engineering side, the goal is to develop a team of product experts who understand, build, and diagnose products throughout the development lifecycle from concept through manufacturing. The System Test team is responsible for planning and executing SYS.4 and SYS.5 tests (System Qualification and System Verification).
Your Responsibilities
Build and manage Product Engineering and System Test teams
Develop standardized processes
Oversee skills development of team members
Plan and allocate resources across projects
Track and report team metrics
Oversee and ensure quality of work products
Who we are looking for
Education requirements:
- Minimum of a BS in an engineering field for both positions. Advanced degrees are a bonus.
Required Skills:
Experience leading a technical team of system, product or validation engineers
Strong understanding of automotive product development cycle
Working knowledge of embedded system design
Ability to understand and explain technical product concepts in detail
Experience working with and supporting manufacturing teams
Experience with requirements or test plan development
Your preferred qualifications
Preferred Skills:
Experience with computer vision - based systems
ASPICE expertise
Experience with CV and DV processes
Experience developing test benches/ tools
Experience with Codebeamer tool
