Position Summary: The Range Safety Officer assists, plans, directs and supervises the camps target range program.
Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise staff and campers for the safe operation of the facility and program
Complete staff training
Conduct daily facility and equipment checks for safety and cleanliness, report any issues
Maintain course records
Ability to teach the use of and maintain archery and air rifle equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Minimum 1 (one) year training and experience in target sports
Computer Skills:
Basic skills in Microsoft Office 365
Knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
Willingness to learn new software as needed
Certificates and Licenses:
Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
Current certification in TSAO Basic Archery Instructor and Basic Air Rifle Instructor
