Maintenance Specialist - Industrial
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm with overtime as needed
Job Description: As a Maintenance Specialist - Industrial at Manitou you are responsible for the Diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of the specified manufacturing equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Typical CNC Diagnostics: Duties performed include: taking, developing, and interpreting test results for ladder logic review on PLC software upgrades. Summarizing and communicating technical findings; and using and maintaining technical equipment effectively.
Machinery maintenance Specialists perform systematic Preventive Maintenance. They clean and lubricate machinery, perform diagnostic tests using FANUC or Allen Bradley Ladder Logic, check the performance of the machine, and test damaged machine parts to determine whether major repairs are necessary.
Duties include collecting machine bearing vibration data and then working to repair or replace any machinery or mechanical and electrical components that do not meet safety, performance, or efficiency standards.
Maintain and Certify all overhead bridge and lift mechanisms are compliant to OSHA standards. This includes regular maintenance tasks like replacing fluids, filters, or parts as necessary, as well as performing major repairs to a wide variety of cranes
Minimum of 10 years experience of maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics
Prior Experience leading teams, and training or teaching other team members
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Certificate or Associate's degree
Welding and fabrication experience
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, and pull. The employee will be required to lift 50+ pounds, and work at Elevation of 3 feet or greater.
