Position Summary: The Family Store Receiving Lead is responsible for the day to day operations of the receiving and sorting area.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Assist in the oversight and direction of the receiving area.
* Assist in the supervision of the receiving and driving staff in the performance of duties to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
* Assist in the supervision of clerks in the performance of duties to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
* Support management to ensure daily goals are reached
* Assist with the training of new personnel.
* Attend monthly staff meetings for managers and keep personnel informed of new policies and directives.
* Assist with leadership of customer development and retention plans to ensure an excellent customer experience
* Report safety hazards. Responsible for the protection of personnel, property, and buildings.
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
* High school graduate or equivalent, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
* 2 years experience in retail sales
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
* Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
* Willingness to learn new software as needed
Certificates and Licenses:
* Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
* Must have and maintain a current valid chauffer's license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
