JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintenance Technician
Hours: Sunday- Thursday 7:00pm to 5:30am
Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician at Manitou you are responsible for the Diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of the specified manufacturing equipment. You are also tasked with general building maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience of maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Ability to use measuring and diagnostic tools to test, modify, or repair electrical equipment
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics
Working Knowledge of PLCs
Ability to use hand tools required for electrical and mechanical repairs
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Certificate or Associate's degree
Programming PLCs
5 years experience working directly as a CNC Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production facility
Welding and fabrication experience
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, and pull. The employee will be required to lift 50+ pounds, and work at Elevation of 3 feet or greater.
