Job Duties: Responsible to lead the Electronics Architecture Engineering team in executing engineering projects for design, development, system implementation, and evaluation of power electronic products; Lead regional inverter architecture engineering team by providing technical direction, allocating resources to projects & ensuring application design, development & modifications of products meet customer/company standards; Review engineering team’s work product and performance; Responsible to maintain design integrity on existing product designs; Cooperate with product development groups; Support global strategy and act as interface for Power Electronic Architecture; Work with cross-functional teams to support strategy, business development, new business acquisition, and satisfaction of overall performance targets; Maintain team budget; Support SP/OP budget planning; Supervise customer application analysis; Troubleshoot issues and ensure a final root cause resolution with the customer; Identify & resolve customer design/product ambiguity; Act as primary liaison for engineering topics; Prepare, present information packages to demonstrate company technical capability to stakeholders; and Ensure compliance with ZF Quality Management System (ZF QMS), including IATF 16949, Automotive Spice & Customer Specific Requirements. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available. Position requires up to 10% travel to locations in Mexico (for attendance at collaboration meetings with direct reports) and in Germany (to participate in discussions, and to interface, with global function on inverter and architecture topics).
