Duro-Last Roofing has an opening for a Tapered Insulation Coordinator at their Corporate Headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan. This position aims to provide tapered drawings, piece counts, and quotes for our customers, both internal and external. This is a full-time, hourly based position with excellent benefits.
Essential Functions:
Working up tapered designs based on drawings, specifications and request.
Coordinate completion of all Tapered Drawings and piece counts for the Duro-Last Tapered Division.
Use experience and roofing knowledge to aid in tapered designs including providing value engineered options.
Review other tapered drawings as well.
Work the tapered request from start to finish including proving drawing, piece count, row report and shop drawings (upon request).
On demand, be required to provide a quote for the drawing as well.
Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required for this position.
Previous tapered experience is preferred.
Individual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written).
Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, dependable, and trustworthy) is necessary.
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Must be willing to do occasional travel.
