Duro-Last Roofing has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join the organization to define and launch a new single-ply roofing membrane system. The Membrane Product Manager will be responsible for leading functional teams in developing all strategies associated to providing a complete roof system to a nationwide network of customers. This includes selling, marketing, testing, pricing and training strategies.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in the development of a new membrane roof systems to compliment the current commercial roof system offerings.
Define customer targets for the new system.
Provide leadership in the development of advertising and promotional activities.
Development of training tools and train sales organization.
Provide forecasting and market analysis and recommend marketing strategies.
Executes efforts to develop new products in this category.
Maintains and develops promotional product marketing literature.
Assurance system has code requirements and certifications.
Post launch evaluations and strategies to evolve the full roof system package.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
Three to five years of experience in product leadership, marketing and long-range planning required.
Experience in the construction field or roofing industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management skills.
Thorough understanding of market developments, marketing strategies and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven work experience in product management.
Ability to communicate recommendations to executive management and cross functional teams.
Proven experience managing all aspects of a successful product throughout a launch to the market.
Experience in supporting the marketing and communication activities necessary to develop and launch new products.
Ability to travel when necessary.
