POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Organizational Development will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture within our company. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and initiatives that align with our business goals and objectives.
CORE FUNCTIONS
*Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational development strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
*Develop a standard onboarding process with salary, direct, and indirect employees that is standard across all organizations within Realtruck manufacturing.
*Prioritize where to focus based on the top people losses by plant to reduce overall turnover.
*Provide workshops, systematic processes, and training material that will improve the engagement and leadership effectiveness of our organization.
*Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organizational development needs, gaps, and opportunities.
*Design and deliver programs and initiatives that support employee development, talent management, and succession planning.
*Lead cultural transformation initiatives and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
*Develop and execute change management strategies to support organizational change initiatives, including communication plans, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
*Provide leadership coaching and development to managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive employee engagement.
*Conduct organizational assessments and diagnose organizational issues to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
*Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure that organizational development initiatives are integrated with other HR programs and processes.
*Stay current with industry trends and best practices in organizational development and bring innovative ideas and solutions to drive continuous improvement.
*Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
*Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
*7-10 years of progressive experience in organizational development or a related field required.
*5+ years of experience working in a leadership role within a complex organization required.
*Proven track record of successful organizational development initiatives and outcomes.
*Experience working with diverse and global teams.
*Proven experience as a Director of Organizational Development or a similar role.
Required Licenses
*Certification in a relevant organizational development program is preferred.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
*Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to organizational development.
*Proficient in using relevant software and technology platforms.
*Ability to lead with RealTruck values as the foundation of leadership approach.
*Knowledge of WCM and the ability to work cross-functionally to attack top people losses.
*Ability to develop strategies with operations and finance teams to reduce people-related cost.
*Strong understanding of organizational development principles, theories, and practices.
*Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
*Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*In-depth knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
*Experience in designing and delivering training programs and workshops.
*Proficient in using organizational development tools and technologies.
*Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
Travel
*Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 2-3 times per month based on the business need of the organization.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
*Manager+: Plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the employees within the department function. Has direct reports.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
*This position is subject to Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

*This position is subject to the following physical activities: talking, hearing, and the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in repetitive motions.
Visual Acuity
*The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
