COMPENSATION SPECIALIST, USA/CANADA
SOUTHFIELD, MI - WORLD HEADQUARTERS - HYBRID
Join our dynamic USA and Canada (USC) HR Global Business Services (GBS) team as an HR GBS Compensation Specialist. The position plays a crucial role supporting the Global Compensation Team, HR Business Partners, and business managers to support compensation matters in the USA and Canada. The role requires a passion for helping customers along with being highly motivated to achieve overall goals and objectives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Oversee HR GBS Compensation Administration service delivery (including case management; transaction processing, data processing, and data analytics/reporting) for the region
Analyze and evaluate positions and pay grades, assist with compensation analyses and planning, and act as a trusted advisor to provide support to HR and business managers on compensation related matters
Provide regional guidance for end-to-end compensation administration process in collaboration with the Global Compensation Team
Ensure that services provided are delivered in accordance with all internal policies and procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enablement to drive overall efficiency and effectiveness of the compensation service delivery and an optimal experience for employees interacting with the Compensation support team
Oversees service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency of services delivered by HR GBS Compensation resources by achieving performance measures and adhering to established customer service standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Manage and maintain HR Case Management technology and Employee Portal / Knowledge Management content for HR GBS Compensation Administration services
Partner with Regional HR GBS Leads to establish the criteria for delivering and standardizing compensation administration service initiatives as the Global Process Owner (GPO)

Your Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a role focused in HR analytics or compensation
2+ years in a service center/shared services environment preferred
Bachelor's Degree in business administration or a position-related field required
Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP SuccessFactors
Experience with PeopleSoft and ServiceNow is preferred
Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to resolve problems while maintaining professionalism.
Superior data analysis skills and demonstrated ability to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations based on quantitative data
Ability to manage and analyze complex sets of sensitive and confidential data accurately, efficiently, and with integrity and discretion
Ability to prioritize and shift focus to address competing demands
Strong verbal and written communication skills; clearly and succinctly communicates in a variety of settings and styles
Maintains a high attention to detail and accuracy in all work deliverables
Maintains composure with professional etiquette in supporting and resolving customer challenges
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
Must possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas and functions
