Gordon Food Service is hiring anLiability Claims and Insurance Administrator. This candidate will provide administrative support in the areas of liability claims and insurance.
Responsibilities:
Administer the incoming claim reporting process and provide direction to GFS employees and/or 3rd party on claim handling process.
Administer the data input process involving claim activity to ensure proper claims activity documentation.
Obtain police reports and other investigative documentation for collisions and claims.
Provide support with subrogation claims activity involving property damage claims with 3rd parties.
Assist with running monthly/quarterly claims and insurance reporting.
Monitor and scan all incoming certificates of insurance.
Provide administrative support for insurance renewals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate will have:
Vocational - Must possess empathetic skills while working with both internal and external customers
Reasoning - Must have the ability to problem solve
Communication - Must have good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone
Self Management - Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Experience:
One to two years previous claims administration or insurance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred
Adherence to Hybrid Work Policy:
Adherence to the company's hybrid work policy is an essential function of the Liability Claims and Insurance Administrator position. The policy is subject to change, and employees will be required to adhere to those changes as a condition of their continued employment.

Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote
8 am to 5 pm
