Spread some joy as a Part-Time Customer Service Assistant with Detroit Balloon Bar! As creative curators of balloon designs, we provide that “WOW factor” for our clients' events. We also sell balloons, DIY kits and pre-made balloon sculptures. The Customer Service Assistant is upbeat with an enthusiastic personality and willingness to help. The role with our growing company offers flexible hours and a chance to be a hero on our customer service team, providing a smile during every client interaction with the understanding of how unique and important each event is.
What you'll do:
- Answer inquiries and solve problems with a friendly attitude via phone, email, and online.
- Show off your positivity! Assist customers with questions, concerns, and even the occasional rave review.
- Help customers find the perfect product or service that fits their needs like a glove.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle any escalated issues with empathy and grace.
- Embrace the fun! Bring your energy and enthusiasm to every customer interaction, making each one an unforgettable experience.
- Be happy to assist! Support the team by handling light administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents and errands.
Preferred Skills:
- Empathic and patient, with a genuine desire to make every customer interaction a positive one.
- Have 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administrative assistance or a related field, with a knack for turning challenges into opportunities.
- Have the ability to charm customers with your words.
- Superb at problem-solving and have the ability to think on your feet.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating computer systems and software.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
- Unique personality and flair to make the role your own.
- Availability of about 20 hours per week with flexibility to work some weekends as needed.
- Be willing to agree to a background check
Pay starting at $12 per hour, but may increase after the first 90 days.
