Job Title: Financial Analyst

Robert Half is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our esteemed client in Troy, Michigan. The successful candidate should be specialized in developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning, forecasting, and modeling, and enhancing internal system controls. An experience of 2 years in NetSuite ERP and NSPB is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze quantitative data to create meaningful reports for driving business improvement and operational efficiency.
Assist in enhancing productivity through the development of automated finance applications and effective NetSuite/Oracle planning and budgeting.
Support in the annual budgeting process, providing strategic forecast support for budget and forecast.
Participate actively in the development of financial models and 3-year business plans, providing vital financial modeling support and business valuation insight.
Review financial performance focusing on P& L and cash flow, interpret data and financial insights.
Analyze financial statements, cost and revenue, and perform basic financial reporting tasks.
Identify financial status by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts and provide regular variance analysis reports to the leadership team.
Recommend policies and procedures for cost reduction and improving financial performance.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics.
5+ years of track record as a financial analyst preferably within a corporate finance setting.
Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Proficiency in handling large spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
Ability to efficiently work with large datasets
Excellent communication skills.
2 years of experience in NetSuite ERP and NSPB required.
