The Department of Learning Health Sciences (DLHS) at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, seeks a full-time, tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate or Full Professor level with rank and salary commensurate with education and experience. We seek an innovative scholar with a special interest and expertise in health applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). The ideal candidate will have interest and experience that combines the development, validation, implementation, and evaluation of AI/ML applications designed to improve health and health care. A doctoral-level degree (MD, Ph.D., or equivalent) is required. We welcome applications from clinicians who wish to continue providing health care as part of their professorial activities.
