Psychology invites applications for a LEO Lecturer I, non-tenure-track appointment which begins September 3, 2024, through December 31, 2024, for the Fall 2024 term. Contractual full-time rate per term is $25,500; term salary is dependent on number of courses taught and course effort percentage, up to 66.6% appointment for the Fall 2024 term. The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching in face-to-face, hybrid, and asynchronous/online modalities for the Psychology program.
PSYC 4305 (Psychology in the Workplace) introduces students to some of the core content areas of Industrial/Organizational Psychology including selection, training, performance appraisal, work teams, job design, motivation, leadership, union-management relations, and stress and health in the workplace. Two sections of this class will be offered: one asynchronous/online and one hybrid.
PSYC 4305: Psychology in the Workplace at 33.33% effort per course
Based on performance and enrollment, Lecturer may be appointed for the Winter 2025 term.
The candidate must hold a M.A./M.S. or Ph.D. in I/O Psychology. Demonstrated training in I/O psychology and experience instructing psychology to undergraduates are required.
Industry work background, experience teaching I/O psychology and evidence of excellence in teaching are preferred. The ideal candidate would have experience teaching at a university level and a background in industry.
