About the Role
The HARMAN Automotive Central Marketing Services team is organized like a traditional agency, with this role reporting directly to the Sr. Director of the Central Marketing Services Team. This role will be an in-house social media expert dedicated to the strategy, content development, and optimization of the division's channels. A leading electronics supplier, HARMAN Automotive offers products that elevate drivers and passengers' in-cabin experiences.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy leveraging organic and paid content that is optimized for the HARMAN Automotive Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube Channels.
Collaborate closely with the Central Marketing Services Team, Product Marketing Team, and Communications Teams to align social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives and objectives.
Lead the creation of compelling and visually appealing content, ensuring it resonates with the target audience and adheres to brand guidelines.
Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to maximize ROI, including budget allocation, targeting, and bidding strategies.
Monitor campaign performance, analyzing key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to improve campaign effectiveness.
Provide guidance or insights based on campaign or paid media efforts to inform the organization.
Stay up to date with the latest social media marketing trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our campaigns remain cutting-edge.
Conduct competitive analysis and industry research to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
Work on partnership opportunities for HARMAN Automotive including identifying or working with influencers.
Elevate existing HARMAN Automotive partnerships on social media by engaging with partners actively when necessary. Perform community management as needed.
What You Need
5+ years of experience in social media management and marketing/advertising, with a focus on paid campaigns and driving business results.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media marketing/advertising campaigns that drive awareness and engagement.
In-depth understanding of various social media platforms, their ad formats, targeting options, and best practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to optimize campaign performance.
Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
