RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MRO Supervisor will be the site's COUPA superuser.
- Positions has direct reports that include Maintenance Buyer and the MRO Clerk.
- Supervise and direct the MRO staff and Buying Staff.
- Perform general supervisory tasks to properly lead team, Timecards, HR issues, etc....
- Manage the development and sustainment of equipment spare, procurement, and inventory stock and processes.
- Manage the parts inventory organization and processes or retrieval, use tracking, and procurement.
- Coordinate identification and Removal of obsolescent inventory.
- Coordinate the regular parts inventory cycle counting in accordance with Kerry policy.
- Oversee processes involving equipment spare part storeroom locations.
- Lead and install central purchasing initiatives and processes.
- Monitor Maintenance Repair Operations spend amounts.
- Manage maintenance purchase requests and manage maintenance purchase orders.
- Process Purchase Orders as necessary.
- Manage any Invoicing or payment issues.
- Ensure correct parts are sourced and purchased meeting specifications, quality, quantity requirements. Prevent overspend and overstock.
- Manage the Maintenance Repair Operations VMI programs with respective vendors.
- Manage the parts usage system and databases to allow for adequate system function, system compliance and min/max compliance.
- Oversee Maintenance Repair Operations vendor relations at the plant level and outside of plant when necessary. Monitor terms, payment status, etc.... and resolve any problems that arise.
- Place and manage all capex POs and service PO's for this location and other plants as necessary.
- Become a purchasing system "system expert (Superuser)" and assist others to solve their issues.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience MRO and purchasing preferred.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office.
