Our client, a well established Law Firm in Troy, Michigan is hiring an Estate and Succession Planning Legal Assistant to assist their growing organization. The Estate and Succession Planning Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support to (3) attorney’s in the Estate and Succession Planning Practice Group.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
The salary range is between range is $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience plus a generous benefit package and plenty of perks. The schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch.
Estate and Succession Planning Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
- Preparation of estate planning documents and probate pleadings.
- Updating and maintaining client binders.
- Prepare a variety of correspondence, memoranda and legal documents including probate estate administration pleadings, wills, trusts, deeds, powers of attorney and other related estate planning documents.
- Communicate with clients, fiduciaries and beneficiaries..
- Maintain attorney calendars by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences and travel.
- Document and input attorney reimbursement expenses.
- Assist attorney’s with client billing.

Estate and Succession Planning Legal Assistant Qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Adobe DC
- Experience with HotDocs and ProSystems Fx is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant legal support experience
