GENERAL SUMMARY
Under direction, assists in the coordination of the collection of delinquent taxes; reviews taxes collected and the computation of various taxes; assists in conducting the annual sale of delinquent tax properties in the County; examines and analyzes tax assets and liabilities; performs related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes land title documents to determine appropriate contact.
Assists in the coordination and maintenance of all phases of the compilation and analysis of the tax reversion process.
Audits delinquent tax collections and the annual property sale; ensures compliance with State and local laws and regulations.
Conducts research to determine parties with an interest in identified properties.
Assists with all aspects of tax collection and the tax reversion process.
Coordinates the entering, retrieving and maintenance of tax collection information.
Examines and analyzes tax assets and liabilities; compiles information and prepares related statistical reports.
Reviews and recommends service enhancement to local entities on collection of taxes.
