GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides financial leadership for assigned Henry Ford Jackson Medical Group service line, supporting executive and operational leaders. Directs and oversees financial related activities including but not limited to, financial reporting, expense management, service line profitability and financial analysis as well as front desk support operations at assigned clinics. Develops utilization, scheduling, clinical, operational, financial and dashboard functions. May work individually or as part of a project team but often works with System and Central Market Senior Leaders and their Executive Teams on a wide variety of topics and/or projects.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field required.
Master's Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred.
Approximately seven (7) years progressively more responsible healthcare related work experience including detailed financial analysis work.
Previous management experience preferred to carry out the department's mission.
Proven leadership skills required to allow independent planning and implementation based upon broad strategies and objectives.
Ability to lead teams and meetings consisting of leaders across the organization.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively with a variety of hospital personnel and outside organizations and to effectively lead and coordinate assigned staff.
Ability to withstand stressed due to time constraint, responsibility, emergencies, and interpersonal job demands.
Analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret quantitative and qualitative data relevant to complex patient care and management problems.
Advanced computer skills, including programming and network administration.
