Description User Experience (UX) Designers should apply for this job with a client of Robert Half. The User Experience (UX) Designer conceives and conducts user research, interviews and surveys, and translates them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. In conjunction with your primary tasks, you will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. We are seeking candidates for a job that requires a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues. This long-term contract / contract employment opportunity is based in the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan area.
What you get to do every single day
Lending a helping hand to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)
Joining forces with other members of the digital marketing team on the creation of new initiatives
Creating compelling experiences for users of a product, using results from user research and workflow analysis
Producing tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes
Focus areas may include content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience
Overseeing usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience
Partnering with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes Requirements - Strong interpersonal skills are needed to succeed in this position
Mastery of design software applications and tools
Proficient in Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)
A portfolio exhibiting UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work
Well versed in prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)
Solid understanding of Talented UI UX Designer Jobs Employment
Expertise in design
- Skilled in graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite
3+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
