Medicare Senior Program Director
Job Description
The Senior Program Director is responsible for driving execution of Prime's quality, compliance, integration, and profitability strategy in support of one or more of Prime's market segments.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the execution of operational plans for a complex set of programs and critical initiatives related to assigned market or line of service and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts
Maintain and refine key market segments and strategies to ensure line of business market success; promote specific line of business through active participation in internal and external communications, planning activities, trade shows, conferences etc.
Collaborate with various business units, cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and on budget implementation of programs
Provide comprehensive, accurate, timely and relevant market analysis and reporting to inform Prime's management; manage assessment, tracking and strategies necessary to take advantage of market opportunities
Manage products/programs and implement tools/enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented; leverage new or existing tools to manage and cultivate new business opportunities
Responsible for business deliverables, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and prioritization of business objectives for initiatives; Prepares executive level presentations, articulating the business objectives, project/program progress, challenges and successes in meeting stated objectives
Work closely with the General Manager of the market segment to define the desired business outcomes and articulate those in the program and project value statements
Under the direction of the General Manager or AVP collaborate with clients and key internal stakeholders to interpret strategy and determine how to operationalize it across Prime

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
10 years of analytic, account management, product development, project management or consultative experience within healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, health care consulting or other highly regulated industry
3 years of program management experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
Ability to establish trust, respect and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels of Prime
Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications
Expert negotiation and influencing skills
Exceptional client relationship management and cross-functional team building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Reporting Structure
- Reports to VP or AVP in the Client Engagement, Specialty Operations, or Market Segment Services, Government Programs, Operations, Planning & Delivery, Finance, or Stars & Quality departments
Potential pay for this position ranges from $125,200.00 - $200,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
