Title: Purchasing Build Coordinator
Reports To: Office Manager
Status: Full Time - Overtime as necessary

Job Summary
Work with internal and external stakeholders to procure materials, packaging, and totes for new and existing jobs. Manage new part build timing and system setup from SOP (Start of Production) to EOP (End of Production).
Responsibility & Authority
The employee is empowered to do the following:
- Order materials, packaging and totes and manage non-production runs and timing to stay on schedule.
- Set up and maintain totes, materials, and parts in the system from SOP to EOP and monitor to avoid obsolescence.
- Maintain alternate pack and other expendable directions, system entry, and inventories.
- Understand Purchasing and Customer Service tasks to help with the current position and to help fill in when needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide technical care package and timing needs to Negotiating Buyer (@ Corporate or Valley) for them to find best source/price for early sample and eventual production needs.
- Issue Purchase Orders for Expendable Packaging, Pre-Production, Service, and other special procurements.
- Initial setup for packaging involving Customer Part Packaging, In-house WIP initial setup in-house, and in Customer Portals.
- Expendable (Alternate) Packaging management, ordering, and tracking, both in-house and through the customer portal.
- Create and maintain Packaging, WIP and Customer part numbers in AS400.
- Monitor program EOP (End of Production) and Engineering changes to ensure correct inventory levels and avoid Obsolescence.
- Perform inventories on expendable packaging and any other purchased or manufactured items as needed.
- Service/Preproduction/Proto part scheduling and coordination in-house and through customers, managing materials, expendable packaging, and labels.
- USMCA, Country of Origin, and other related paperwork.
- New Vendor Setup Care Package for Corporate
- Backup for Purchasing, ordering materials and MRO items, Scheduling trucks, and receiving items into the system.
- Backup for Customer Service Tote management internally and through the Customer portal.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Motor coordination, manual, and finger dexterity
