- Assist AD Engineers in conducting validation of the Autonomous Driving functionality based upon Test Development Plans (TDP's). Inclusive in this endeavor is the ability to create and modify existing TDP's related to camera, radar, and lidar based systems, to improve the validation efficiency.
- Participate in or conduct competitive vehicle benchmarking activities. Collaborate to plan and schedule evaluations with suppliers, distributors and HMG R&D as appropriate, prepare vehicles, run evaluation and report findings.
- Special project to review previous validation and tuning reports to create a database of issues and data.
- Assist AD Engineers to research of new technologies that have potential for future applications. Participate in POC projects.
- Travel will include domestic test trips associated with the above activities and may be 10% of the time.
- Junior or Senior undergraduate enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college / university.
- Ideal candidate should be pursuing degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and express interests in the automotive field.
