Job Summary
Corewell Health Digital Services is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to coordinate and coach our software development teams, applying scrum methodology to produce high-quality work that matches the pace of our consumer's rapid adoption of digital technologies and products. This role will create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints, supporting various work serving our consumer digital products, including our Corewell Health website, region specific websites, Corewell Health App, and our Find a Doctor products. The successful candidate will work to establish processes consistent with digital best practices and Agile development, create and track to project plans, communicate plans and status to team members and stakeholders, manage incoming requests, issues, and other day-to-day interactions as needed to keep work moving. This is a remote position. Working from home is our primary work location. On limited occasions there will be opportunities to visit a Corewell Health location with the entire team. Those meetings are often scheduled in West Michigan for pre-planned events. While we strive to have all team members be in person when the team chooses to do so, remote participation options will also be provided.
Essential Functions
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups of multiple agile teams
Coach team members in scrum methodology and other Agile frameworks
Help build a productive environment where team members are hyper focused on creating a better consumer experience, encouraging ownership and sense of pride in the product.
Promote a Brilliant at the Basics mentality
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
Partner with product owners to build backlogs and intake new requests
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
Help teams implement changes effectively
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
Handles incoming requests/issues/questions, track down decision makers, address directly if applicable, and/or drive to clear decisions that unblock work
Partner with production support to ensure issue timely issue resolution
Connect teams and stakeholders across Consumer Digital, Digital Services, User Experience, Consumer Experience (CX), and Marketing groups

Exceptional knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
Excellent communication and servant leadership skills

Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate and cocreate across Marketing, CX, Digital Services and Operations
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Master's Degree or equivalent
5 or more years of relevant experience as a scrum master roles building digital products Required
Foundational experience using agile/Atlassian tools (Jira, Trello, Confluence and similar) Highly Preferred
CRM/PRM experience (i.e. Salesforce) Preferred
CRT - ScrumMaster, Certified (CSM) within180 Days required
CRT - Adv ScrumMaster, Certified preferred
CRT - Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Project Management Institute preferred
