Job Summary
Responsible for the development and execution of short-term and long-term strategies for diversified and differentiated customer-focused offerings in the commercial group lines of business. This role will include gaining and translating consumer, employer, and market insights and trends through market presence, and primary and secondary research; leveraging organizational capabilities and strategies to develop and deliver unique and progressive offerings that meet customer needs. Solutions will include new offerings across medical, ancillary, health and wellness, third-party administrator (TPA) and administrative services and programs as well as diversification opportunities. This role will drive the strategy and execution of new innovative solutions cross functionally across Priority Health.
Essential Functions
Collaborate across the organization to develop and execute Priority Health offerings that maximize business opportunity, deliver innovative high quality and high value products/services and create meaningful deliverables rooted in consumer and employer insights.
Lead primary and secondary market research efforts to inform product priorities and design. Partner with leaders across Go To Market, Product Delivery, and Product Management to execute these strategies and bring new solutions to market. Collaborate with departments across organization to drive development and execution of comprehensive Marketing mix for all offerings - including solution design, pricing, promotion, distribution, service delivery, etc.
Ensure proper management and timely completion of new offering development in line with brand development, product strategy, market analysis, and corporate goals. Enable commercial market solution strategies that leverage the collective depth and breadth of capabilities within Priority Health, as well as offered through strategic partnerships.
Lead the strategy and design of new product development and market solutions in line with market trends, the market offerings strategies and market-specific and corporate goals. These will include internally sourced services, as well as solutions developed through partnership and affiliate relationships.
Design products and solutions using consumer and employer experience insights to achieve experience goals. Leverage in-depth knowledge, experience, and insights across Employer Solutions markets - small group, large group fully funded, self-funded, etc. Design and execute strategic product and market solutions initiatives with appropriate financial and growth metrics to ensure data-informed decisions and to support a P&L targets for employer group business.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in health care or business
5 years of relevant experience in health care Required
Strong knowledge and understanding of health care products, benefit structures, and product development process Required
Familiarity with state and federal regulatory and legislative processes required; must be able to read and interpret complex
statutes and regulations Required
Ability to quickly grasp and describe health plan products and benefit designs Required
