The HR Generalist is a crucial role that supports the organizations people operations.This role administers HR practices and objectives to provide an engaged, productive, and challenging work environment. Areas of support responsibility include organizational development, talent management and staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, benefits, retirement, and other duties as assigned.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide leadership, coaching and training for managers and key mill leaders.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and all levels of management.
Promote and facilitate changes in hourly work environment to increase employee engagement and productivity.
Manage educational assistance and scholarship programs.
Lead mill Talent Development Assessment Plans.
Lead training efforts across the mill.
Assist in the development of employee relations practices necessary to maintain a positive workplace.
Lead and/or participate in the Recruitment process.
Update all HRIS systems internally (Dayforce, SilkRoad Products, etc.) including submission of necessary documentation for payroll.
Ensure compliance with state and federal employment law.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Required Experience
Minimum Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or High School Diploma or GED related field and 0-2 years of experience in human resources or related experience.
