Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has Maintenance Technician Mechanical (MTM) openings at our Dearborn Works location. MTMs are responsible for performing all aspects of routine maintenance and are competent in troubleshooting of equipment in our facility to support our daily operations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Perform all maintenance functions necessary to maintain the operating equipment.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Be able to perform all aspects of mechanical work.
Work with different trades in assisting as needed.
Experience either in Hydraulic Repair, Millwright, Machine Repair, or Welding
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license is required.
3 to 4 years maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment required.
Due to the nature of our 24/7, 365 days a year operation, candidates are required to be willing to work any shift, any day of the week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
