As the Senior Manager, Corporate Security you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the enterprise-wide corporate security program which incorporates personnel security, asset protection, crisis management, investigations, and risk assessment within the Kellogg North America (KNA) business. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate strategies, policies, procedures, management, staffing, and technology are in place to address all security-related functions and activities throughout the KNA areas of operation including administration manufacturing, logistics and sales. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation a bonus.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in North America. This position does not require relocation to Battle Creek but will be expected to travel there for any required in person meetings. Relocation support available.
HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Security Strategy - Developing, implementing, and directing a security program aligned to the Kellogg North America business and leveraging elements of the Global Security strategy.
Risk Management - Identifying security risks with a focus on protecting our people, assets and brands; implementing programs that will prevent or mitigate loss to Kellogg. Ensuring the effectiveness of workplace investigation practices. Researching and deploying state-of-the-art technology solutions. Implementing risk reduction programs through increased security awareness by identifying resources, training material and presentations to improve the security of the Kellogg workplace. Leading the cross-functional Threat Management Team to address workplace violence concerns.
Management and Engagement - Providing direction and strategy setting with key partners including SME's, contract security teams and security technology integrators supporting Kellogg. Developing close working relationships with law enforcement, intelligence agencies and private sector counterparts. Bringing innovative thought to the role with an 'outside-in' view and drive for continuous improvement.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Bachelor's degree majoring in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of seven years' experience in a security management or law enforcement environment with at least three years in the private sector.
Ability to gather and critically evaluate information and present it in an organized manner is essential.
Demonstrated experience in the areas of workplace violence mitigation, risk assessment, workplace investigations, supply chain security compliance and security systems are key to this position.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to operate across a large organization.
