About the Role
The Facility Technician is responsible to support all Divisional activities related to facility operations and ensuring that all timing schedules and trades' regulations are adhered to. The Facility Technician supports Leadership and Facility personnel by acting as liaison in matters regarding policy application, employee relations, and continuous improvement for processes and productivity.
Your Responsibilities
Maintain all Facility equipment including, compressors, chillers, HVAC units, exhaust & supply fans.
Utilizes all equipment and manpower to achieve the most effective results. Manpower and equipment utilization are meeting or exceeding expected results/targets.
Utilizes preventative maintenance techniques with maintenance technical group and production planning.
Participates in quotations and follows up related to new projects.
Utilizes maintenance program/database ensuring accurate data is entered to determine proactive courses of action.
Supports daily PM assignments, does follow-up and monitors PM schedule.
Who we are looking for
High school diploma, GED, or state equivalent required.
HVAC, Pluming, and electrical training preferred.
Must have a sound knowledge and understanding of building codes specifically in the area of structural specifications.
Must have demonstrated experience and understanding of mechanical equipment and operational principles of mechanical components and systems.
Regularly monitors scoreboards to observe where issues are occurring, and that maintenance offers assistance and support to production team members; Responds to Andon based on the escalation process, as required.
Works with employee production team to minimize/reduce waste to achieve company objectives. Efforts towards minimizing/reducing waste shows a reduction in Departmental KPI's.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with a variable workload.
Strong organizational, time management, planning, written, computer and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment in order to meet customer requirements.
Must be able to interact effectively with other team members.
Assists with repair, modification, and installation activities with other maintenance personnel (when required).
Participates in the design and/or redesign of new or used equipment.
