Job Description:
We are currently seeking a diligent and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our medical facility and delivering top-notch patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of medical assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and ensuring their comfort and readiness for examinations.
- Accurately obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assisting healthcare professionals with nail procedures.
- Providing assistance and support during wound care treatments.
- Under the supervision of medical staff, aiding in graft procedures.
- Performing filling and sanding of nails/calluses as necessary.
- Supporting medical staff during biopsy procedures.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and exam rooms.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution preferred.
- Desirable to possess current CPR certification.
- Prior experience in a medical setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
