Duties and Responsibilities: Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs, including but not limited to the following duties; produces assigned products in accordance with written and verbal instructions, maintains up to five plastic injection molding machines and packs/ moves finished goods to the staging area, fulfills quality requirements as outlined in job books, inspects parts and documents information on appropriate paperwork, assists in training temporary employees, maintains a clean/orderly/safe work area, adheres to established policies and procedures. Some weekend overtime required.
Skills and Abilities: average math/language/reasoning skills, organizational and time management skills, knowledge of computer label software, ability to occasionally lift/move up to 55 pounds, attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills, abiulity to perform in a fast-paced and highly efficient work environment.
Qualifications: high school diploma or GED and minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment mandatory, excellent attendance record mandatory, experience in plastics/automotive manufacturing preferred. PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING REQUIRED.
Compensation and Benefits: $11.00 hourly (plus $.50 hourly shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts), excellent benefits package provided at very low out-of-pocket expense to the employee.
