Puritan Automation is seeking a full time machinist / machine builder at our Wixom, Michigan facility.
The following skills and experienced are preferred:
Ability to assemble all mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies required to complete specialty machines.
Must be able to fabricate, and machine components required to complete assembly. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Able to find and assemble parts.
2. Able to read and follow a print.
3. Arrange and assemble engineered components into final product.
4. Assembly, fit and function of the assembled machine.
5. Assess the accuracy of engineered prints.
6. Communication skills.
7. Fabrication (Frames, Details, weldments, etc.)
8. Interface with leader concerning job line up, including receiving and understanding assembly prints and job specifications.
9. Machine Builder.
10. Machinist.
11. Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
