The team you will be a part of
The Brand Management team promotes and maintains the brand image at local, national or international levels. They coordinate marketing strategies, including packaging, pricing, expense budgets, advertising and promotion of the brand and develop associated advertising campaigns.
This role in summary
The Consumer Insights Manager will primarily partner with brand marketers to develop, optimize and evaluate marketing and shopper communication and brand health for our KitchenAid global business.
Your responsibilities will include
Create and fully execute research learning plans for brand and advertising research
Design and manage primary research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, allowing you to manipulate and synthesize data (e.g., attributes, transactional, behaviors, etc.) to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable strategies
Clearly communicate key findings and recommendations in an actionable way to the team
Act as the "voice of the consumer/shopper" to ensure consumer insights are integrated into decision making and embedded in the organization
Build and leverage strong relationships with business partners and leadership to enable data-driven conversion from insights to actions
Establish strong, collaborative working relationships with external vendors/suppliers toensure that deliverables are consistent with project research objectives and maximize these vendor relationships to produce actionable, clear and value-added output
Partner with Analytics team to develop roadmap of key marketing data automation to enable more agile decision making
Minimum requirements
Preferred skills and experiences
Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Decision Science,Economics, Marketing Research, Behavioral Psychology, or Social Sciences
Experience working within the Consumer Packaged Goods or Durable Goods industries, or at a market research supplier
Knowledge of standard primary research tools and syndicated data coupled with the abilityto draw conclusions and make business recommendations in situations where there iseither too much or not enough data
Strong communication skills (visual, verbal and written) to create and deliver compellingpresentations of insights
Experience with study design using a broad range of consumer-oriented research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, including brand research such as Brand Health tracking, copy-testing, messaging & positioning research
Experience with global research
