2nd shift 5 PM to 5 AM - Mondays to Fridays
Position Summary
This CNC machinist develops sequences of commands for, performs set-ups on, and operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling machines fully utilizing pre-programmed operations and subroutines; records data and commands for subsequent use by assigned machine operators or machinists.
Responsibilities:
- Program, edit, and modify programs as needed
- Familiarity with Fanuc and FASTEMS controls, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement techniques
- Inspect work utilizing a certified operator program
- Setup machine and size to sketch dimensions
· Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Capable of CNC G-Code programming- Strong knowledge of milling machines and other related equipment- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications- Familiarity with power tools and basic math calculations- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
- Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred and FASTEMS-Pallet automation
- Knowledge of 4-Axes Makino and 5x Dixi Machines- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- 4+ years of experience in setup and operation of CNC Mill-HORIZONTAL
- CMM report data interpretations, inspection techniques
- Understanding of multiple axes machinery

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
