The Herman Miller Group Technology Team is building a customer-centric, digitally enabled business model to reshape the way our family of brands does business. We're driving new revenue growth and creating frictionless internal processes through our innovative technology solutions, and we need an IT Lead to help us get there!
As an IT Lead, you'll cross-train with the current analyst who is retiring to get a baseline of understanding of Herman Miller systems. You'll work on a project to upgrade our current ERP process for Order to Cash, a project to migrate manufacturing sites to latest ERP release, and work to enhance and deliver changes to the Order Management systems as the business changes. The Order Management team is a very cohesive team that works extremely well together to deliver results. They have mutual respect for each other and work together to achieve collective success.

Inside the Job
Your day-to-day work will involve:
Responsibility for order management capabilities from the time we take an order until it is acknowledged in the ERP system
Working with developers to make changes or enhancements to the order management process
Participating in agile processes, such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, etc.
Taking on project work that would integrate in the ERP landscape, gathering requirements for functionality enhancements or changes, documenting those changes in the appropriate tools, testing out results of changes and/or upgrades, and assisting with implementation to production as needed
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:
A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
Seven to ten years of experience
Experience working with a cross-functional team on an ERP application
Experience leading activities to accomplish a specific result (i.e., leading an upgrade, building out tasks for a larger piece of a project)
Using out of the box capabilities to solve business problems while reducing complexity
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, both IT as well as business
Ability and desire to learn new technologies and new ways of processing
Ability to challenge the "status quo" and get to the "right" decision
