Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Sr. Serial Buyer.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible forspecific plant(s) in series production
Purchasing contact for our production plants
Requesting quotations for technical/logistic changes of series parts and negotiating the tool modification costs and prices
Implementing the ECAs into series production for plants
Processing capacity inquiries from projects/sales and escalating/solving potential delivery shortages/problems in cooperation with plants
Ensuring deliveries of spare parts (after EOP) and negotiating the costs in consideration of purchasing relevant factors
Clarifying and eliminating price discrepancies in SAP
Supporting by implementation of cost cut activities and supplier relocations etc.
First escalation level for plant logistic issues with supplier
Education & Experience:
Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering orBusiness Administration or related field
5+ years experience within Purchasing for manufacturing; preferably automotive
Strong negotiation skills
Strong relationship skill to work within a team (leadership, reactivity...)
Manufacturing / engineering experience is a plus
SAP / Excel experience
Negotiation skills with distinctive target orientation
Analytical, interdepartmental and customer oriented thinking and acting
Knowledge in cost analysis
Strong time and project management, problem solving and continuous improvement skills
