About the role
We are looking for a Regional Safety Manager to drive our proactive EHS atmosphere, and management systems in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations! This manager will achieve world class safety performance by crafting and implementing injury prevention strategies and initiatives. Working closely with Field Sales and Business Leaders, we will rely on you to to effectively facilitate involvement and integrate EHS into business processes, educating associates about unsafe acts, conditions, and handle all data surrounding environmental performance, environmental incidents, inspections, and environmental monitoring results. Join our team and lead all aspects of the risk assessment process for jobs including where duties, location, and/or equipment changes occur!
This is a remote position posted in several locations for marketing purposes but just one position is available. This position is expected to travel up to 50%. The nature of the role will require travel outside of hours, and on short notice for emergency response.
Responsibilities
Minimize and/or eliminate occupational injuries develop and manage initiatives for energy and waste reduction processes, practices, training programs, and sustainability efforts.
Coordinate and manage the safety incident management system
Facilitate incident investigation process. Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions
Formulate and articulate EH&S standard methodologies, goals & objectives, initiatives, and key performance indicators
Conduct field and site audits/inspections to enforce adherence to federal, state, and county regulatory laws, and Danaher policies governing occupational safety and health compliance
Develop and maintain credibility with clients and regulatory authorities
Are you qualified?
7 - 10 years' experience managing an EHS program, preferably in a global environment including multiple corporate entities. Construction EHS experience is preferred.
Related Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred
Willingness to travel around 50%, to respond to emergencies and/or questions, including off-hour shifts
Credible professional certifications preferred
Previous experience analyzing and instructing on statutory/regulatory EHS requirements
The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
