Adecco is currently assisting?a well-known?National Pharmaceutical client, recruiting for an Assistant Operations I in Troy, MI.
Schedule: Mon-Th: 8AM -6:30 PM or Mon-Fri: 10AM - 6:30PM
The anticipated wage for this position is between $15.89 and $17.16. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
This Assistant Operations position is in a warehouse facility where the individual will be assisting the dispensing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians package customer orders for shipment. You will also assist with stocking supplies and other tasks associated with the department.
Retrieve shipping documents and labels from printers and organizing them for picking.
Assist in the packing and shipping of medications.
Track shipped packages making sure that patient is in receipt of shipped package.
Report any packages that are not delivered.
Organize shipping reports daily into file for review by Branch Manager.
Receive non-pharmaceuticals via back dock.
Ability to learn computer system and work with MS Word and Excel programs.
Also responsible for other tasks related to placing purchase orders, receiving inventory, tracking and reconciling inventory balances, and selecting product and supplies under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
What do we need from you???????
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or purchasing environment, data entry experience helpful.
Past experience in pharmacy a plus.
Knowledge of packing and shipping with national carriers a plus.
