SENIOR ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - WORLD HEADQUARTERS
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible forsupporting cost estimation, new product launch and leading standardization and innovation initiatives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Interface with industrial engineering team to determine equipment requirements
Write technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipment
Project management of equipment through installation
Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment
Travel to support plants 25% average, 50% peak

Your Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering
Project management
Technical writing
AutoCad Lt / 2D
Experience with assembly equipment; build pallets, conveyors, end of line testers etc
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Must demonstrate high attention to detail
Must have high sense of urgency
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in JIT seating or automotive
Experience with industrial control systems such as PLC
Define assembly process
Engineering / process change control
MOST trained
Line balancing
Standard work instructions
APQP
PFMEA
