Summer Intern - Accounting/Finance
Job Functions:
Assisting the Accounting team with departmental functions such as Tracking and Completing GL Account Reconciliations, updating local work instructions, etc.
Creating and automate various reports for Management and Other tasks as assigned.
Prepare the Bi-Weekly Credit Management Report and assist the NAFSC A/R with resolving customers over Credit Limit
Perform the monthly review of customer credit notes issued to ensure proper approvals have been received with supporting
documentation.
Assist the Tax team with Sales Tax reporting, Property Tax return reviews and reporting
Participate in and assist with month-end financial reporting close tasks including auditing journal entries and preparing
various reports for MIF submission.
Review delinquency report submissions by the NAFSC Accounts Receivable group and aid with addressing outstanding
customer issues.
Keep management informed on current workload, issues, and future assignments
Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
Adhere to company and professional ethics governing the handling of confidential information and the observation of confidentiality
Maintain professional relationships with company employees, clients and customers, both internal and external
Represent the company professionally in all interactions both internally and externally
Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code Of Conduct.
Perform special projects as required.

Qualifications:
Required:
1. Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration having completed a minimum of one year of college
2. An outstanding academic performer 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or equivalent academic requirement.
3. Good oral and written communication skills
4. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
5. Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills
6. Proficient with MS Office Suite
