Your responsibilities
In support of the tkSCS solutions design team, candidates will be tasked with evaluating RFQ/RFP packets for new opportunities, gleaning from those documents information needed to complete a holistic operational solution and subsequently pricing. This individual will be expected to adhere to and support internal engineering process requirements. A background in Industrial or Applied Engineering is preferred.
Key Accountabilities:
Work on designing innovative solutions to develop streamlined logistics operations.
Based on solution design, utilize cost model templates to create pricing proposals for customer RFQ/RFP Responses
Analyze logistical data to identify areas for improvement and optimization in supply chain processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of proposed solutions and make data-driven recommendations.
Assists management in evaluating capital equipment requests.
Working with the project launch team to facilitate the seamless handoff from solutions.
Actively participate in and support the Lean Program
Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies
Reports to the Director of Solutions and Implementation.
Some travel expected during project launch.

Your profile
Minimum Requirements:
College degree or certificate program in technical related field. Open to internship (working up to 30 hours per week) for expecting graduate.
Microsoft Suite (word, excel, powerpoint)
Preferred Requirements:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
AutoCad experience.
Visual Basic for Application (VBA) experience.
Familiarity with warehousing and transportation market conditions
Experience with Lean methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Value Stream Mapping (VSM) experience.
