The person who fills this role will be responsible for all project management activities of selected projects. This project management role will commence with initial project identification, and will continue through project implementation, concluding with project launch. During this time, the project manager will oversee execution of all project steps, and indirectly coordinate sales, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other identified cross-functional team members. Interface may occur with internal personnel, suppliers, customers, and senior BU management.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating staff and internal resources
Managing project progress and adapt work as required
Ensuring projects meet deadlines
Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
Oversee and direct cross functional team related activities
Develop program timing and project execution steps
Ensure compliance with all deliverables
Maintain team meetings minutes and action items
Assist in product cost establishment and quoting
Coordinate with sales and marketing staff
Provide project assistance, where applicable
Leading project planning sessions
Develop and maintain project management processes where needed
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years experience in Commercial New Product Development and Launch Environment
Bachelor Degree
Proficient in Project Management tools
Eligible to work in the United States without Sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification
NPD experience with electromechanical products
Bachelor degree in Engineering or other Technical Degree (Proof required)
6-10 Years experience as a Project Engineer
Local candidate
Good communication and people skills
Experience working with ISO or other similar regulation standards
