Develop, implement, and coordinate quality assurance processes to ensure that all released automotive products are safe, effective and of the highest quality following the OSHA laws. Responsible for communications, reporting, and establishing quotes for service agreements with OEM, nationwide, and international suppliers. Standardize product-process inspections/reworks while meeting customers’ requirements. Forecast headcount, consumable, and resource needs based on priorities and manage workforce. Produce technical documentation such as work instructions, time cycle studies, and job-set-up audits.
The Site Operations Manager oversees the quality assurance for a wide range of automotive components encompassing various models. The product categories include but are not limited to:
· Drive Unit: Power transmission components, such as gears, boards, busbars, rotors, and battery cells.
· Body in White: Structural elements like crossmembers, roof rails, bumper beams, and more.
· General Assembly Area: All internal and external components, such as door handles, window regulators, seats, trims, tires, headlamps, and other critical parts.
Working in and out of Michigan required. 20% visits to the ATCO warehouse in Texas required.
Requires bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 6 months of relevant experience.
