This position is responsible for supporting processes related to consolidations and financial reporting. In addition, responsibilities include process improvement and automation.This person will become a valued member of our Finance Department, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.The position may be based in Southfield, MI and reports directly to the Finance Manager, Financial Systems,of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide end user support to include mapping changes, troubleshooting during monthly close and general questions from users.
Provide and monitor user security in compliance with policy and procedures.
Manage daily operations of OneStream database such as updates of database structure.
Design, build and update required reports using OneStream reporting applications.
Train new OneStream users and lead multiple training sessions from beginning to expert levels.
Contribute to special projects.
Proactively and frequently communicate with internal customers to build and maintain a solid working relationship.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in a financial planning or accounting environment, or IT experience supporting Finance processes and initiatives.
Skills
Experience working with Financial Consolidations systems such as OneStream, Hyperion HFM, Tagetik (experience working in an OneStream environment is highly preferred).
Strong documentation and communication skills, to support interaction with Finance customers and IT partners, are required.
Ability to work independently and to multi-task in a dynamic environment is required.
Strong MS Excel skills required.
