Various locations considered for this role (Oxford, MI or Fort Wayne, IN)
Position Purpose: To provide a wide variety of clerical and administrative support to operations.
Essential Responsibilities
Follows Document Control procedures including stamping, routing, and sorting project specifications and drawings.
Proofread and edit proposal text written by project team and technical experts.
Format documents according to corporate and customer specific standards.
Confirm all required proposal materials are compiled for distribution accordingly.
Maintain and update regional bid log and proposal calendar.
Manages daily administrative and office support operations including establishing work priorities and workflow.
Assists with the coordination of field and operational activities in support of the project management and administrative team.
Communicate amongst departments as necessary to ensure the proper execution of company policies and procedures.

Computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required.
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, PhotoShop and other software programs preferred. Experience MS Access database development a plus.
Excellent writing and editing skills are critical.Requires excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to understand and communicate both technical and strategic messages.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred- Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related major)
Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or clerical support experience
Experience with an engineering or construction firm or in a similar technical/marketing environment, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience a plus.
Work Environment
Must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the time.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Continuously operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, scanner, and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and coworkers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
