Reports to: Director of Sales (Tire & Wheel, Fluid Fill, EOL)
Duties: This individual will be responsible for evaluating customer requirements, lead sales process efforts to evaluate technical proposals from applications engineering that conform to customer needs, as well as assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, to ensure technical feasibility with all relevant internal and external divisions within Schenck USA Corp. and The Durr Group. Establish and maintain positive relationships with external clients, engineers, etc. to ensure Durr/Schenck products and support are well positioned to secure customer orders. Stay engaged with current projects to provide a liaison between customer and project management with regards to scope clarifications and new change requests. Continually gathering market information to support the Director of Sales in proposing new market trends for the company vertical products. May call on customers with the support of Director of Sales to analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships. Support the Director of Sales to conduct market research through a variety of additional sources to facilitate marketing and sales efforts to ensure order and revenue growth of Schenck/Durr products. May also perform other duties as required by the Director of Sales. Travel up to 50% of time to automotive manufacturing customers in North America.
