The Sales Project Coordinator position has responsibility for coordinating Rogers Athletic Sales activity pertaining to bid and installation of weight rooms and Impact Athletic Full Training Rooms. Provide necessary support to Regional Sales Managers to complete bids and take ownership from sales handoff to customer sign off.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize Salesforce and other internal software to communicate with all aspects of the business.
- Keep records of both customer and vendor interactions and transactions, monitoring quotes to ensure expeditious and accurate pricing.
- Increase bid counts by making proactive contact to register Rogers Group Companies on procurement lists and programs.
- Be the liaison between the company and the customer to secure the most positive outcome for both parties.
- Manage the installation budget to finish the project on time and on budget to improve profitability of the project.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Managers to evaluate installation requirements and coordinate for an accurate quote prior to the bid being submitted.
- Align with outside installation firms to ensure timely and professional installation of the weight room projects.
- Coordinate with the Shipping Department to make sure trucks are scheduled and leave in appropriate time to meet delivery requirements of the site.
- Manage all onsite requirements to include staffing, forklift, dumpsters, and any special equipment. In addition, the removal of packaging and equipment once install is complete.
- Assist with forecasting and scheduling of projects.
- Ensures timeline of prints are submitted to manufacturing from R&D in a timely manner.
- Document project work with minutes of meetings, correspondence, telephone confirmations, daily diaries, etc. to build working files and a project history.
- Keep in constant communication with the end user, construction company, Regional Sales Manager and other key stake holders so that everyone is up to date on the status of their project.
- Communication to the shop (production) with any special needs or requirements on existing orders.
- Align with Purchasing to ensure buy out items are ordered, on schedule and will meet installation requirements.
- Keep records of both customer and vendor interactions and transactions, monitoring quotes to ensure expeditious and accurate pricing.
- Secure final sign off and handle any punch list items in a timely manner.
- Secure final images of the full installation from the installing company to support future marketing activities.
- Attend and participate in industry trade shows as appropriate (may require some overnight travel)
- Travel to project locations to manage the installation as appropriate.
- Be an additional source for phone coverage to support the sales team and customer’s needs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer bachelor’s degree. Previous formal sales training and project management experience highly regarded.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must possess basic math skills and complete financial analysis. Ability to interpret and read blueprints.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur in the quoting process. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Agility of the upper and lower body extremities and capable of lifting 50 pounds.
