Job description:
Community Financial Credit Union invites you to apply for an internship with our Compliance team! The Compliance team supports the entire credit union by ensuring the Compliance Management System aligns policies, procedures and related internal controls to regulatory requirements and guidance.
The Compliance intern will support the administration of regulatory risk assessments, the third-party risk management program, and the Business Continuity program.
A Day in the life of a Compliance Intern can look like:
Review, update, and prepare spreadsheets related to risk assessments and risk monitoring, under supervision.
Update data points on software platforms (ComplySight, Riskonnect and Venminder).
Maintain high attention to detail in order to accurately record data in online software platforms for an extended period of time.
Train on applicable regulations via online training systems.
Attend training opportunities through trade associations, vendors and regulatory agencies on general Consumer Protection, Vendor Management and Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery.
Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
