WHAT YOU'LL DO
This role provides engineering support to all aspects of the infrastructure of the facility
Assists in development, planning, and execution of all plant-related facility engineering activities including a wide variety of mechanical, plumbing and electrical components, but not limited to: building HVAC, roofs, floors, drains, utilities and fire protection systems
Analyze system failures to determine source and cause
Participate in evaluating system conditions and developing long term obsolescence and sustainability plans.
Applies working knowledge of engineering disciplines and independently conceives and develops approaches to problem solving that requires advanced technical knowledge
Plans and conducts small to medium-sized projects. Responsibilities include detailed project planning/monitoring, budgeting, project reviews, implementation, validation, and release to production
Promote and Drive continuous improvement programs utilizing common problem solving tools and methodologies in processes and procedures within the
Ensure delivery of effective performance management while establishing and sustaining a positive work environment.
Follows escalation reporting process with inputs from peers/manager for decision making as required. Make and communicate decisions that are appropriate for level of accountability.
This position will work to coordinate external contractors to perform work in a cost effective and safe manner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering with a preference for a Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
OR
- 2+ years of experience with engineering responsibility in a regulated industry, with preference being for food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Project planning experience
Demonstrated leadership skills in a plant facilities maintenance environment
Knowledge of project planning tools and experience using them
Experience working with and implementing Continuous Improvement tools & methodologies
Work experience in the food / medical industry under FDA regulation

The base pay for this position is $57,300.00 - $114,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
